Forbidden Art Exhibition Opening Reception

Forbidden Art: Illegal Works by Concentration Camp Prisoners tells the emotional story of the artwork created by prisoners of Auschwitz. The Berkowitz Gallery is honored to bring this powerful exhibition, organized by the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum and The Polish Mission of the Orchard Lake Schools to the Dearborn community.

Teresa Wontor-Cichy (Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum) to speak at 2:15 pm on the 2nd floor of the Mardigian Library. Visitors should proceed to the 2nd floor at 2 pm to hear the lecture before viewing the exhibition.
